Forest Bathing

Forest Bathing is the practice of slowing down, awakening the senses and reconnecting to the intelligence of our bodies. Inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin Yoku, it is a science-based framework which supports physical, mental and spiritual health and wellbeing. It also holds space for healing and nourishing experiences to arise.

Relationships & Reciprocity

Relational Forest Bathing - as conceived by the Association of Nature & Forest Therapy (ANFT) - is a journey towards wholeness, a journey of remembering, a journey of reconnecting.

As an ANFT Certified Forest Bathing Guide, I support people in cultivating relationships and reciprocity with themselves, with others, and with the more-than-human world.

Robin Wall Kimmerer once asked:

"I wonder if much that ails our society stems from the fact that we have allowed ourselves to be cut off from that love of, and from, the land. It is medicine for broken land and empty hearts"

Relational Forest Bathing can be a medium for healing and tending to this severance - cultivating heart-centred relationships rooted in gratitude, reciprocity and a deep, felt sense of interbeing
